Sunday Morning Worship Service

May 10, 2026    Reverend Sean Ramsey, Pastor

This Mother’s Day at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, we reflected on the powerful story found in Book of Exodus 2:1–10: “A Mother Who Trusted God.”

In the midst of fear, uncertainty, and danger, Moses’ mother demonstrated extraordinary faith by placing her child into God’s hands. Though she could not control the future, she trusted that God would protect, guide, and provide, and He did.

This message reminded us that faith does not always remove uncertainty, but it gives us the strength to trust God even when we cannot see the outcome. The courage and obedience of one mother not only preserved a child’s life, but also impacted an entire nation through God’s greater purpose.

As we honored mothers and mother figures during this special service, we were reminded of the lasting influence of love, sacrifice, prayer, and unwavering faith.

May this message encourage us all to continue trusting God, even in seasons where the path ahead feels unknown.
