Sunday Morning Worship Service
This Sunday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, we were reminded of one of Jesus' most comforting promises:
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
Through the inspiring message, "The Invitation Is Still Good," Guest Speaker Minister Joyce Hunt encouraged us to remember that Christ's invitation has never expired. No matter our past mistakes, present burdens, or future uncertainties, Jesus continues to welcome all who are weary, searching, and in need of His grace.
The invitation is not reserved for the perfect—it is extended to everyone. Whether you're carrying heavy burdens, seeking direction, longing for peace, or simply searching for a deeper relationship with God, Christ's arms remain open.
This message challenged us to lay down our fears, release our burdens, and accept the rest that only Jesus can provide. His invitation is as relevant today as it was when He first spoke those words, offering hope, healing, renewal, and unconditional love to all who come.
At Bethany, we believe everyone has a place at God's table. We are grateful to Minister Joyce Hunt for sharing this timely and encouraging Word, reminding us that no matter where life has taken us, the invitation is still good.
