Sunday Morning Worship Service

May 24, 2026    Reverend Sean Ramsey, Pastor

This week at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, we reflected on the powerful moment found in Acts of the Apostles 2:14a: “Stand Up and Say Something.”

After the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, Peter stood before the crowd with boldness, faith, and conviction to speak the truth about what God was doing. The same disciple who once struggled with fear was now empowered to stand publicly and proclaim God’s message with courage.

This message challenged us to recognize that there are moments when faith requires us to rise, speak up, and boldly represent what God has placed within us. Whether through encouragement, truth, leadership, prayer, or testimony, God still calls His people to use their voice to uplift, inspire, and impact others.

“Stand Up and Say Something” reminds us that silence cannot always carry the assignment God has given us.

May this message encourage you to walk boldly, speak faithfully, and trust that God can use your voice to make a difference.
