“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side…” — Psalm 124:1–2

As we begin a new week, Psalm 124 invites us to pause and reflect—not just on where we are going, but on where God has already brought us from.

There are battles we remember and battles we never knew we were fighting. There are doors that closed that we didn't understand at the time, only to discover later that God was protecting us. There are moments when we thought we couldn't take another step, yet somehow, we kept moving.

God was on our side.

Our testimony isn't simply that we survived. Our testimony is that God sustained us.

So before you allow the challenges of this week to overwhelm you, take a moment to remember God's faithfulness. Think about the prayers He answered, the dangers He brought you through, the strength He gave you, and the grace that carried you when you couldn't carry yourself.

Whatever this week brings, we can move forward with confidence because the God who was with us yesterday is still with us today.

If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side, where would we be?

May this week be filled with faith, gratitude, courage, and a renewed confidence in God's presence.
